Responsibilities
1.Financial Oversight: Ensuring that all financial transactions are handled in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements in Europe.
2.Accounting Management: Oversee all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
3.Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations across European jurisdictions, including filing tax returns and managing VAT, corporate tax, and any other applicable taxes.
4.Acquisition Supervision: Supervise financial aspects of any acquiring companies and communicate effectively with the management of these entities from the headquarters' perspective.
5.Financial Analysis: Prepare internal financial analysis reports as required by head office and make recommendations for optimization, especially based on financial analysis and management advice of European subsidiaries.
6.Budget Control: Manage the budgeting process, monitor expenses, and implement measures to maintain budgetary control throughout the European operations.
7.Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and work with external auditors during audits and ensure that all financial processes are in compliance with international financial reporting standards and corporate policies.
8.Funds Review and Oversight: Have the authority to review the flow of funds, ensure proper cash management, and maintain financial security.
9.Internal Communication: Liaise and work closely with headquarters to ensure consistency in financial reporting and alignment with the overall corporate strategy. Cooperate with the Chinese headquarters to prepare and issue all required financial statements accurately and in a timely manner
10.Additional Tasks: Assist headquarters to take care of some of HR and office task. As ZEASN EMEA continues to grow, you will have the opportunity to tackle additional responsibilities and contribute to the evolving needs of the organization.
Qualifications
1.Educational Background: A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is highly desirable.
2.Relevant Experience: Proven work experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably with some experience in a multinational environment managing European operations.
3.Knowledge of Tax and Compliance: In-depth understanding of European tax laws and experience with regulatory compliance across multiple European countries.
4.Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Chinese is essential; knowledge of Dutch and any other European languages can be an advantage.
5.Technical Skills: Strong expertise in financial software and accounting systems, with an ability to adapt to new technologies.
6.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
7.Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with management and work in a cross-cultural environment.
